NCH Trails To Treatments

NCH Trails To Treatments is a grant program administered by the North Country Horsemen Saddle Club, a non-profit organization based out of Middle River, Minnesota. Feedback from sponsors, riders and communities inspired us to establish this grant program which will offer financial assistance to patients currently receiving cancer treatments. Initially the individual grants awarded were $200 but were quickly increased to $300, and then to $400, then $500 and now $600 in 2016. A big thank you to all organizations and individuals in the community who have enabled us to increase our grants due to their donations.
The Trails To Treatments website has now been combined with the North Country Horsemen website and is no longer being updated.

How The M&R Triple T Ranch & NCHSC Cancer Benefit & Ride Got Started

In the past, with a lot of help from his family and friends, Mardy Anderson hosted benefits at his family ranch for friends suffering from difficult illnesses. Then in 2007 he and his family attended the Cowboy Up Cancer Ride in Mcleod, ND. On the way home from this event, he started thinking that maybe their next benefit should be for cancer and include a trail ride. He decided to approach the area saddle club that he was a member of, about helping. They were very receptive to the idea and thus a committee was formed to plan the 1st Annual M&R Triple T Ranch and North Country Horsemen Saddle Club Cancer Benefit & Ride in 2008.
